- Born in Monaghan, Ireland, 1983. Studied Multimedia Programming in IADT, Dublin. Musician for 10 years.

- I use mainly recycled or secondhand materials in my work. Awareness of and responsibilty for my impact on the environment is something I stress great importance on and is very central in my creative process.

- I paint on cardboard packaging, scrap papers, old canvas materials, found wood, recycled and carbon-neutral papers. Packaging and framing all come from secondhand sources.

- I try to find new ways of making my painting and creative processes cleaner for the environment and I am continually researching new methods and sources of materials. i'm always open to new ideas, so mail me please; barryquinnart (at) gmail.com
