Beginnings and Ends is an exhibition and accompanying zine produced for a solo show in Parades Gallery, Matsumoto, Japan. The exhibition featured a series of illustrations, "Bowerbirds", named after a bird which creates elaborately decorated "bowers" for its courtship rituals. Individual bowerbirds have their own taste in colours and textures and shapes. They use flowers, bugs and other colourful objects found on the forest floor.

The Beginnings and Ends zine is a short illustrated tale, without text, on identity and idleness.
