Produced for a solo show Beginnings and Ends in Parades Gallery, Matsumoto, Japan.
The male Bowerbird creates elaborately decorated "bowers" for its courtship rituals. Individual bowerbirds have their own taste in colours and textures and shapes. They use flowers, bugs and other colourful objects found on the forest floor.
