Between unsustainable over-fishing, coral damaging trawling, oil spills and plastic waste pollution, seas are becoming our most vulnerable ecosystems. This was a drawing produced for an exhibition on global warming and habitat conservation. 
I often struggle with the idea of trying to speak critically of these problems while inevitably contributing to them.
The title comes from an Emily Dickinson poem;
    Water is taught by thirst;
    Land, by the oceans past
