For an exhibition on wildlife conservation, I became interested in the idea of wildlife corridors, natural "highways" in urbanised areas, to help improve the biodiversity that is threatened by habitat loss. Such spaces don't just benefit ground mammals that need to navigate around roadways, but can also offer safe breeding and nesting habitats for birds.
